April Fools Party (special Server Test event extended!)

Hello Penguins!

What a day! The April Fools Party launched today and there sure is a lot to see! I hope you get a chance to check it out over the weekend. There are tons of hidden surprises all over the island and a lot of the rooms have been redrawn in some really wacky and different styles! Be sure to check out all the different areas! Try getting together with a couple friends and see how many secrets you can find if you work together.

As always, let us know what your favorite part of the party is and even what you’d like to see next time. The party will be around until April 2nd! Have fun!!

In other news: Earlier today we announced a special April Fools event that would take place ONLY on Server Test between 10 am and 4 pm. After hearing from a lot of you about how much fun you were having with it, we decided to extend it! It will be up on Server Test all weekend. To check it out, go to clubpenguin.com/cpip and sign up for Server Test, login and play!

CPIP April Fools Surprise!

Hello Penguins!

A couple of weeks ago a special project got underway in Club Penguin. A number of you may have already heard about it through friends. It’s called the Club Penguin Improvement Project (known as CPIP).

The Club Penguin Improvement Project will help make Club Penguin better, faster and hopefully even more fun! One major part of this project is testing new servers. Those of you who have already joined Server Test have been doing a great job testing the new servers and reporting any bugs you find.

I wanted to remind everyone about it because we are planning a really CRAZY special event for April Fools that is different from the party and will ONLY be on the test servers. I don’t want any of you to miss it!

I don’t want to ruin the surprise so I can’t tell you what it is, but here’s a hint: when you login to Server Test you will see Club Penguin through different eyes! Believe me, we’ve never done ANYTHING like it on Club Penguin before!

If you want to check it out, here’s what to do:

(to access the page be sure to click on the “eye scanner 3000″
- Sign up for Server Test and login

Everything you need to know about Server Test is there–and I post on the CPIP blog every week.

Hey guys! The new party come out today and it’s officially the best party ever created on CP! Here is an overlook of the April Fools Party 2008!

The “Secret” Pin

This pin is kinda hard to get, but all you have to do is go to the Mine Shack and connect all the dots, and the pin will show up.

This party is obviously the best one yet! Each room is designed in a special way! The ski lodge and the coffee shop look like they’re made from Billybob’s kids ;). The Ice Berg is very cool as well! It’s totally different and very creative! I also LOVE the Forest and the dock! I hope you guys liked this party! I sure do! Have fun!

Penguin of the month? Gone?

Well, Club Penguin took out the Penguin of the month section in the newspaper! It’s probably because kids have been thinking it’s really them and calling in, or they could of have a heart attack thinking they’ve won. Well that’s too bad! Just had to let you guys know!

Hey everyone. The new Club Penguin Times came out today with a lot of surprises! It’s the best so far! Check it out.

The newspaper is very twisted! It’s very colorful with lots of drawings and some surprising/cool ideas CP came up with!

 

Best April Fools prank of all time!

Here is a funny/heart stopping prank CP did to us! I find it very funny! Hopefully none of you had a heart attack or a stroke! Just kidding, but still it had to get you a little bit, right?


Ask Gary? Not Arctic?

Yup! That’s right! Instead of the original Ask Aunt Arctic, they switched it around to Ask Gary the Gadget Guy. Another very creative idea!

Do Not Push!

One of my favorite things in the newspaper, is this Do Not Push button that makes the page rip if you press it! I would read the jokes before you press this button.
